Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince: Completed. Baaaaa.

Wow. That book was amazing. It made me laugh, cry, and get goosebumps. Me and Stephen went to Barnes and Noble and waited to get it. We got it, went home and read it together. Stephen reads much slower than I do, so I had to stop and wait so we could discuss. Plus there was the matter of sleep and other breaks. So, I ended up finishing the book in about 27 hours. But, if I was by myself, I could have done it in less than 12. Stephen hasnt finished yet. He's still on Chapter 20. 10 more to go.

P.S. I won't be online that often. The virus ass raped my computer and it's unusable. So, until at least Monday, when my dad (hopefully) fixes it, no computer. If I'm online, it's because I'm sneaking on. FYI. I'm on Stephen's laptop right now, in case you're wondering.

1. Zombies! Fantastic!
2. I had originally pinpointed Snape as the Prince. Then I got to a part where Slughorn kept mentioning his mother. So Stephen and I believed it was her. I'm sure Stephen will be somewhat amazed that my instinct was half-right.
3. I had also originally figured the person to die would be a Weasley. Because of the Boggart Mrs. Weasely saw a few books ago. Then, Stephen deducted that perhaps Draco would die. We then theorized that there would be a battle between Harry and Draco, and that Harry would have the Felix Felicis, and he'd kill Draco. Then, I got to a point where I figured Snape would be the one to die, something I followed until the instant Dumbledore died. I kinda got slightly teary.
4. Hermione and Ron. I so fucking called that before Stephen and I picked up our books.
5. Harry and Ginny. I called that too. I mean, of course he's gonna end up with a redhead like his dad did. Plus, I knew Harry would come around.
6. Tonks and Lupin. That came out of fucking nowhere for me. I always kind of figured Lupin was a closet homowhatever (Guess that reference). Plus I just never saw that.
7. Snape. Boo Snape. I've lost respect for Snape. The main person to trust him at Hogwarts, and he betrayed him so viciously, merely so he can be (hopefully) get killed by Harry. Harry just needs to go "Kill Bill" on all these people. He's even got a mental list: Voldemort, Pettigre, Bella, Snape, etc. Now to find him a yellow jumpsuit...hmm.
8. Horcruxes. Wow. Amazing. So that's why he looks like that. I also liked how his items of choice were somewhat related to Hogwarts.
9. Dude, this movie is going to earn at least a PG-13 rating. Wow. They used the word "slut" in a Harry Potter book. Abstinence as the password cracked me up. I think Dean probably slipped Ginny some sasuage. Ginny seems alot more....wordly then she was in the previous book. Everyone was fucking "snogging" in that book. Though, I'm glad Jo realized that that happens as kids get older. I'm glad she slightly raised the maturity level. So many hand gestures. Ha. Wonder what will happen in the next book? Some sex? *gasp* They'll need a "sex ed" class at Hogwarts. Funny.
10. I was severly disappointed that I didn't learn more about Harry's parents. I really love hearing about them, and the Maruaders. Plus, they still haven't said how James won over Lily. And I'm a sappy fool and will like that shit.
11. The whole fact that a teacher has never lasted longer than a year teaching DADA. And the reasoning behind it. Bloody brilliant.
12. Did anyone notice Ginny had no problem saying Voldemort's name? I don't know if that meant anything, but still, I noticed.
13. Also, to my knowledge, they never said exactly why Voldemort doesn't fuck with Dumbledore. My theory is that back when he was at the orphanage, Dumbledore was the first person to say "Listen bitch, call me sir." He was pretty much his first authority figure.
14. I also theorize that Neville will really do great things in the last book. Considering the comparisions made between his situation and Harry's. I know Jo didn't just put that in for a filler.
15. Did I mention there were zombies?

Also, I just realized this and wondered why: When Voldemort killed Harry's parents, he killed James, but wasn't planning on killing Lily, pending she gave up the child. But, why spare Lily? Lily was just as skilled as James. Lily was a "Mudblood", something Voldemort was against, yet James was (if I'm not mistaken) Pureblood or Half-blood. So why spare Lily? I really hope this gets explained.

I'll leave you with this: Since Horcruxes can be animals (the snake), is it possible that Harry's scar is (at all) a horcrux? Just a silly Booga wonderment.


Now that I've finished the book, what awaits me? Hopefully, a certain person who's been acting distant for no reason will get his or her shit together and want to hang out.
